Book reviewsl

Brendon gets books sent to him to review. Free books. Some come from In Bubble Wrap.com which gets things linked up with publishers, etc. Anyhow, he had several books here that he was drowning in...so he pushed several off on me to read and write reviews if I chose to do that. He reviews books for his Slacker Manager site. So, I gave it a shot. I read three books in two weeks and wrote the reviews at my HR for the leader in you blog. It is on the side bar of this blog, too. Go there if you wish, but be advised that reviewing books is not my normal writing mode and I get a bit too emotional.

Anyhow, one of the authors wrote back to me and thanked me for the publicity. I was not superlative in my complements...however, it was a positive review. Anyhow, I asked Brendon how that all came about and he said simply, "He called me today to see if I had read his book and I told him you posted a review." So you have to be careful of what you write on a public site. You may have an audience wider than you think.
