Our Prayer List

Life is so up and down. Right now there are many in our sphere of concern that need prayer. And tomorrow, those of us who are ok now or for a while, will be needing prayer. The best prayer to me is for strength and peace with the outcome. We are all, after all, going to die at some point, so prayer for healing is so short lived. If healing takes place, then praise God, but if it does not, then the cycle of life goes on. Oh well.

The families that I know of who need uplifted are those of Lily Lancaster who is in Bronson and not doing well; Cooper Seymour who is gaining, but time will only tell if his low birth weight (1 pound 15 ounces) will have lasting physical outcomes. The Frens and Seymours are in need of prayer as this little one struggles forward. He has a heart murmur, but many normal term kids do and they out grow them. His appears to be that type. They will check his eyes in a week or so and technology with lasers allows them to do some very significant things to neo nates that they could not do only a few years ago. He is a fighter, no doubt with all the genetic stuff he has going on in the core of his body, but he is so small.

Pray also, for Jeff and Mary as they approach their wedding. They are so devoted to each other and to their faith. If God smiles at his creations, he has a very wide grin with this one. They met under His plan, courted under His plan, and hopefully they will continue to grow under His plan.

My newest sister in law Midge is having a hip replaced August 9th. This will be her second. She is a woman of faith; a true believer and one who has dedicated her life to uplifting others. She deserves a pain-free life as she continues her work in the church.

The list could go on....and does in my mind and heart, but right now it is time for Rose to go out side and prayer will not make that happen, I have to.

Peace....
