I have been working on the FSBO site where the condo is listed. The sun, garbage cans, other factors haven't been the way I want them to do the outdoor shots for the slide show. But I got them up today and have 20 of the 25 pictures I am allowed for the package I bought. The swimming pool is empty since it was painted this week and the cover is over there in a ball, so that will have to wait.
Aleene and I were walking earlier and found a mother duck with her ducklings on the water. I took a picture, enlarged it and cropped it and included in in the show...cute.
This has been a project...first the attorney, then the listing, now the pictures. I will be getting some ads in the Sentinel soon...like next weekend, I hope with a picture and pointing to the web site. That will be my marketing effort until we get back from Portland in June. But it is up and running. I have a big budget...anything less than Woodland's fee to sell it will be ok.
I spent all morning on my new affiliation with Dan Dana. I gave him a big plug in the HR Leaders blog and gave him a link. He got all excited and asked that I write something up for their marketing plan to let others see and experiment with the power of blogging. Dan is quite an entrepreneur.
I also spent time on my presentationf for the Challenge of Children (next Thursday at Hope College). I got notification that my afternoon session is almost full (they room holds 45) and the morning session is half full at this point. I don't want to make handouts, but I know people will ask for them...so I put together a two pager. I will have to make about 60 copies, yuck. I am looking forward to this gig. It is another free bee, but good practice for me. I have adapted my mediation stuff into a family vs. business format. I will introduce myself as Pappy Lutz and that ought to hold their interest. I have a couple of pictures of Tru in the powere point so they can see that I have at least a little credibility as a child psychologist. Golly.
Next Wednesday and Thursday will be busy days for me...on my feet...they swell when I stand for four hours. They did this week, anyhow. The first gig is at Transmatic for LHRMA and then to CU followed for CofC on Thursday, 2X.
Deb, my hair person, asked why I didn't put the condo on ebay...her husband dabbles in realestate as an auctioneer and she wondered if I would list it at Greenridge if this didn't work. Hey, you never know. But I have had over 30 hits in three days (probably agents looking for property owners to prey on.)
