Playing with Truman

Aleene and Amy are shopping...so Tru and I get to play. First we watched a train video and he kept checking to see if I was awake (40%)...then we put some puzzles together. I got an email (I had to check email) and got one from my sister Phyllis in Virginia...so I had to answer that. He kept asking when I would be done, but he was patient, and I thanked him. Then we played Candy Land. Now we are parallel playing. He is playing trains and I am blogging. The cats are asleep as is Rose. She had a rough day yesterday and this morning.

Rose and Tru have hit it off like a boy and dog should. They go to the top of the stairs and each has a ball in its mouth and then they release the balls (sometimes together) while Aleene catches them and throws them back up the stairs. Then Tru puts her leash on her and puts it on his scooter and she pulls him back and forth in the hallway. They did that all afternoon yesterday until Rose was pooped. When we arrived this morning they made a couple of more really good passes then we ate...Rose crashed and is still sleeping.

It has been rainy...typical NW weather, I guess...but the sun is out now. Looks like it is time for a walk. You go ahead and do stuff and the weather cooperates, fine; if it doesn't, you do it anyway. People have been camping with us at Champoeg all week and the rain hasn't slowed them down a bit. There even were campfires last night.

I have to go thank Tru again for allowing me to write...he is so patient.
