I mediated a racial slur issue between a worker and his employer today. Both sides had attorneys. They were determined to spend their Friday afternoon running up bills for their respective clients. I got into a shuttle mediation today for the first time in 14 years. While it sounds like a pain...it turned out well. We didn't get a deal yet, but I think one will be forthcoming. We agreed to meet in about ten days.
I took Ed Pelon out for supper to Russ' Southtown. He had a good time and seemed in good spirits and healthy. He did not eat much...I should eat with Ed more often.
Rose developed a limp today. Not sure what that is all about, but she is favoring her backend about every fourth step. Could be arthritis or dispasia...she is too precious for me to see her in pain. I hope she gets relief through natural healing.
