Teaching on Saturday Morning

I have a class on Negotiations and Dispute Resolution that I teach at Davenport Univeristy (MGMT 431) that meets on Saturday morning. It is a fifteen week affair, which really is longer in the fall because of Labour Day and Thanksgiving...adds up to seventeen weeks. I have to admit that the people hang in there. I have ten students. Two of them were with me in the Staffing course that just ended (a seven weeker) and eight others that are really into the program. I think they get a charge out of my stories...and I know they like to practice negotiate. I gave them a big project this morning and they got right after it.

It is a result of their interest in mediation and negotiation that has me thinking about turning my professional website into a blog spot for mediation. There is a way to run a blog and sell ads through google.com so that you get a little revenue from writing it. I have all sorts of things to say...and would probably like to get started soon.
