From Lowell, Mass.

It has been over ten years since I have been in Massachusetts and I am not sure if I have ever been in New Hampshire, but today I am. I flew all day from OR to get here, arriving through Cincinnati. We had an interesting flight to Manchester since we never flew above 11,000 feet due to air traffic above us. So, it took us longer, we flew through the clouds which was bumpy at times, but we were able to see much more on the ground. As I said, interesting.

New Hampshire from the air looks like any other wooded state. I was taken by the absence of sprall (from Boston) until we got right in to Manchester. I have a driver, so I do not have to worry about traffic. The thing I learned that was interesting is that NH does not have a sales tax. They, unlike OR, play it up in advertising to their MA brothers. "Your buying dollar goes further," the commercials say.

I am on a tight schedule today...presentation from 11:00 - 3:00 and a plane leaving Manchester at 4:30. They assure me it is no problem. Then, on to Newark tonight for my presentation at 8:00 a.m. in Union, NJ tomorrow. If you are still with me on this, I fly to Pittsburgh tomorrow night and do a presentation there at 8:00 a.m. then I kick back with the local Lutzes for the weekend. I head back home on Monday.

Oregon, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, then Oregon; sounds like a politician.
