We walked over to the park this morning....about a mile from us...to watch Truman play his first T-Ball of the year. This is really beginner stuff, as most of the kids can't catch or throw. I have been working with Tru for three years...and he has developed some skills. He throws really well, catches most of the stuff thrown to him and hits with a nice level swing.
But the idea is for them to get the concept of hitting the ball, running to base and if the ball comes to you...then throw it to the correct base. That is a major request for six year olds.
It was fun and a good way to start a beautiful 75 degree day. Yea...summer is here again...but not for long.
