Aleene was kind enough to record the Old Fashioned Day parade that passed our house Saturday morning while I was in Portland. In fact, our front yard was the reviewing stand for lots of folks. She reports that it took about and hour for the entire parade to pass! Whew. We walked to the park this morning for pancakes and will return for the antique car show. The 20 minutes of fire works was clearly visible from our deck. We were close enough to hear the crowd cheering after the finale. We had a ring side seat.
