Gone...carless...my beloved van is outa here. Came to agreement with a couple from Zeeland last night and tonight they brought a check and wisked it off. Happens that the guy is a former Trooper who served with Bob S. and the gal teaches first grade in Wyoming and her brother is married to one of the Welch girls.
We were both happy and sad. Happy to not have to deal with the van on the trip out and to get the cash to work on our building project until the condo sells, but sad because this vehicle fit me and was a great family transport. It will be missed. You gotta do what you gotta do.
We pick up a rental tomorrow before we go to Gaylord tomorrow afternoon.
More lunches and goodbyes...this is getting harder and harder as we go along. Good bye in our case with most of these folks means forever. Yikes, get me out of here.
Our planner forwarded the final drawings today while the DSL was down. I finally got them and called him to tell him to go to the next step...builder plans and making bid packages.
I have been trying to upload pictures of Cooper Seymour directly to the blog, but to no avail. The link takes you to Flickr. Jodi forwarded pictures of him at 9 months. This less than two pounder at birth now weighs 19 pounds and is developing right on schedule for a six month old (which is how old he should be if he didn't get kicked out of his nest so early.) Cooper is the answer to a lot of prayers. You gotta see him to believe it. I will keep trying to get a picture of him on the blog.
