Back at you, Tuesday

The parade continues. More lunches, maintenance, cleaning, and showings as time marches towards May 1...M (Move) Day.

The DSL went out for almost 24 hours yesterday....was I fuming or what? After talkting to India twice, Kalamazoo and St. Louis it fixed itself this morning just minutes before the repair guy showed up. I really think what happened was that I called the phone companty (now AT&T) to schedule our disconnect date and one of the lovelies flipped the switch on the DSL for immediate shutdown instead of waiting until May 2. The repair guy said he would agree with that logic. "Heck, when I moved, they transferred service and kept billing me for two months after I moved. Then it took three more months to convince them I did not need to pay the bill; and I work for them."

I had the furnace guy in for a preventive maintenance check of the AC...since that will be the unit that is working this summer when we are gone. He said it was fine, but said he has found a lot of mice and birds in units which are bad. So I was glad that it checked out.

Got a party coming to look at the van this evening. Sounds serious, so we are making plans to be carless later in the weekend. We will pick up a rental on Thursday to drive to Gaylord and give us wheels through the weekend. The price was reasonable and that way we can accommodate our potential customer...and keep the miles off the van. Want that number to stay under 60K as long as possible.
