How do you recover from a wedding? That remains to be a mystery since we both have been in the blahs for the last couple of days...cold-like symptoms, both of us...not feeling like walking, both of us...keep rehashing a memorable weekend, both of us.
Yesterday I took the boys to Kalamazoo to the Air Museum there. We spent four hours looking at the airplanes from other eras...and it was well worth while. Of course, we did breakfast and lunch. The highlight was watching Bob take another guy up in the F/A-18 simulator and spin him around. Duane and I were first and we were intent on staying straight and level and shooting down "bogeys." I got my most eerie feelings looking at the F-8 Crusader. For a moment 40 years melted away and I was in the hanger bay of FDR. I flew off Foo Dee Roo 40 years ago this month to be with my bride and soon to be son. It is hard to believe, but when Jeff got married last week it was a reality.
Today we listed the condo with Woodland. They think they can sell it quickly. We'll see. We tried for four months and showed it 14 times. Not sure what they know (other than prospective buyers) that we don't. Anyway, we are making plans to begin to "shed" un-needed items, or to take those that Amy might want. We have a list, Jeff & Mary, so sign up for the goodies.
Gotta run....
