Monday eve

Brother left this morning...nice visit; no, great visit. We did Saugatuck, again, yeserday. Ate at Uncommon Grounds which was a first since we usually do coffee only there. They have organically grown veggies and hummis plates. I had tuna salad and Nancy had spinach pocket which was served hot like a 'hot pocket.' We all liked what we had...very reasonable as well. Took J&N on the chain ferry and walked to the museum at the base of Mt Baldhead (the water works building on the river, actually). They had a Civil War display of the Saugatuck area soldiers. Very nice. Bob Swartz recommended the museum when we were there Thursday for sidewalk days. Good call, Rob.

We will see the folks in Virginia over Labor Day...then again at Jeff's wedding. Sometimes it takes months for us to get together, but this year has been different. That will all come to a screeching halt when we go to OR.

Rose is bummed now that her ball players have gone. She gets lots of attention when J&N are around. Well, we all do, really.
