Tuesday

We think we have made over 120 trips across the Ohio Turnpike in the last 33 years...while it took us just under 7 hours, which is not a record, it went very quickly. That happens when we talk a lot. And we had things to discuss...Jeff's wedding, Jodi and Cooper, the posibility of moving this fall and the sequence that would have to follow. And I have to say that age has something to do with it as well. You know, the older you get the faster time goes.

We picked up Rose after 12 days in the kennel. She smelled, so I bathed her...she still smelled, so Aleene gave her some additional care...we ate as well as we could considering the pantry was virtually bare and then we went to JP's for coffee...back in the routine for sure.

By now I have been to the market, Rose and I have walked twice around the golf course, and Aleene is at breakfast with the school crowd...and I will have to play catch up for a few hours.

We are prayerfully thinking of the Seymour family as they deal with their tiny baby. Pictures show him small enough to sit in Jodi's hand. But he seems to be doing ok at this point. Amy mentioned a set of twins in her community who were just under and just over two pounds and they are running around now like full termers would.

Thanks to the Lutzes and Knerams for a delightful weekend....
