Thursday from Oregon

Twenty four hours in Newberg already. Got a lot done today. Amy is working until 8:00 tonight doing conferences. She had kids for a half day. Tomorow she is off and Brendon and one of his friends are going to Mt. Bachelor to snowboard. They have had lousy snow here (Mt. Hood side) this season so they have to go over the Cascade slopes to the other side (near Bend) to find some.

Aleene and I kept Tru. He was ok with that. We took the Jeep to McMinnville to investigate an RV repair place. Still haven't had any luck with the LP gas side of the refer. Electric is fine and we have made it work ok, but when you are going down the road the LP side is what you should be using. So they are going to take a look at it. While there I will have the oil changed. It has been 5K plus miles with 2.5K to go to get home. So Tuesday we will drop it off over there for a few hours.

We drove around Lafayette and McMinnville for a bit looking at houses. These are rural communities that are growing; both within 15 miles of Newberg. We are going to look in Newberg and Dundee also. Cursory looks would indicate we could get something in our price and size range fairly reasonably.

We stopped off at the MH at Champoeg for a few minutes to pick up some things and check in there. We are signed in there until Tuesday...then we will probably renew our time there. They have a 14 day limit and we will most likely be here 17 days. So that means taking it out for a day and bringing it back. We were thinking about going to Pacific City for the weekend next week (Easter) and coming back Saturday for services here Sunday. But that is not conclusive yet. We love Pacific City. It is about 1.5 hours from here...over the Coastal Range...and is beautiful. We will see. Haven't really had that much time to talk to Amy since she had conferences until late yesterday too.

The flowers and trees are out about the way they would be in mid-May in Michigan and it is only mid-March. Well...that is how things are in the Willamette Valley. Today we had bright sun and about 60 degrees. Tomorrow looks good, but Sat and Sun promise rain.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all. We see by the change in our condo rules that our grill on the deck is now a no-no. Since we have no more room in the garage, it looks like the grille will have to goe...or will we have to go?

Hi from Holland!
It's so nice to be able to read what you're doing and how things are going. Thankful you arrived safely.
Sure hope you don't move because of the grill situation! :)
Say Hi to all and have a wonderful time.
Hugs,
