It is raining in Oregon

Most think it rains all the time here...well, it does at certain times of the year. We are in one of those spells. It is a fine misty rain, it is dark and not too breezy here. On the coast they got an inch of rain and some significant winds. There is a second front coming on shore tonight. It is supposed to be more severe.

Last year we had 100 mph winds and seven inches...at the coast. Nothing like that this year...so far. This is a possibility in November and December, but not so bad from there on. Two years ago we began our building project the week after Thanksgiving and we pulled it off. It would have been tougher last year.

Rain is not a significant event here...it just adds to the unique life we lead: full, rich and green.
