Estero

I keep saying Ft. Myers, but we are really in Estero which is about 15 miles south of FM. It is a lovely location. Believe it or not, I have golfed twice (and Aleene once) since we arrived (105 miles from Sebring) yesterday. That is twice the number of golf outings that I had in all of 2007. This is a Short course (I put the capital in for emphasis.) The weather has been amazing...so comfortable and warm...sorry you northerners and NW folks. The sun has been shining through.

There has been fog in the a.m. which precipitated a huge pile up on I-4 near Orlando yesterday. That was terrible. We had fog this morning, but by 9:00 a. it was summer-like.

Oh, one more thing. Spaghetti and salad last night...possibly the best I have had in years. Their marinara was wonderful. I knew we were in for a treat when the old guy that sat us had a Yankee cap on and grunted in Italio-English...a real New Yorker. It reminded me of Cozy Inn food.

Wow...I can only guess who came on the site...what a turnout. Are they keepers? We get back late next Thursday...the 17th, so I will miss the morning get together, physically. I will think about you (at 10:00 my time).

I think they are all keepers.... A new man from Minn......moved here for wife's work....you probably know them already. Bill is home....weak but home. Hope being at home will be good for his spirit....and keep him from getting infections. Hospitals are known for the giving and taking of infections!

Keep having fun...staying dry and warm. Your days are numbered...T.minus 6 and counting. Rain awaits..... And tornadoes....what weather...couldn't be warming of the earth!!! Went to the 9:30 men's coffee a couple of times....flipped the first time and ended up buying all the coffee....darn! ED
