Tru's class was part of an all school event this morning that got Aleene and I just a bit teary-eyed. The school was having a Jog-a-thon to make money for things taxes used to pay for. The older kids ran the old track, but the K-gartners ran a circle in the grass of the football field. On the way back to the class, his teacher who recognized us from open house, asked us to keep tabs on the end of the line...well, we both got filled up with memories of interacting with little kids in a school setting.
