There are thunder storms: it must be Nebraska

Made it to Grand Island on day two...no hitches so far. The load has not shifted significantly...just settled a bit. Glad we roped it in.

Drive 12 hours...but stopped frequently. We have two and a half days left. We intend to do about 600 miles a day. We should stay in Rock Springs, WY tomorrow and Baker City, OR on Thrusday which will give us about six hours on Friday. Yea.

The truck is doing well, but $100 fill ups is numbing. Only have to have seven for the whole trip, then leave the beast filled for the return.

The weather has cooperated, but tonight we are in a storm warning with radar showing a line marching its way toward us. Oh well, the bugs need to be washed off Big Yellar.

We make frequent stops. Even caught a nap after lunch which was refreshing. The traffic has been light even in Omaha. Hit that one just right.

We have lucked out with WiFi both nites, but I sometimes have trouble getting the Blogspot thing to take the post. Oh well, trying several times over several hours has worked.

That's about it...we are well into Indian country and have not come across any hostiles. Most of the folks we interact with are older, paunchy and walk with limps...what is that all about?

Love to all,
TL
