Wednesday Afternoon

For those of you who wonder (or even care) what I spend my free time doing...check here...
I read and wrote a review of a book that I found "really quite nice" (said in your best imagined Austrialian accent.) Connie Correveau gave me the book as a going away present from the Mediation Services board that I served on during the past year. Connie was HR director at Zeeland Hospital...for some of the time I was at Holland...and we both took the State Court mediation training at the same time. She left Zeeland to become Executive Director of the center about a year before I left my day job. We have worked closely together for the past four years. This is all to say that she knew I would like this book.

The author, Parker Palmer, is a Quaker, so I checked him out with Amy today and Oh Yea, she knows of him and Brendon really likes him...so it is not just me. He is a good author. So while Aleene is back at the MH making potato soup and watching that Hospital show that is on every day at 3:00 I came over to the plug and play place to upload my review.

The weather here is OUTSTANDING today. So I did most of the writiting outside at our picnic table.
