I am going to try to cut and paste her message....here goes:
"Buenos noches:
Arrived safely and have been very busy. Worked on Saturday morning and then in the afternoon we went to a resort, coffee plantation up in the mountains for the night. It was colder and rained some. I hiked (in the) Rainforest Sunday morning with a couple of the ladies, Didn´t really see any animals but lots of huge banyon trees and plants.
On Saturday, I carried a lot of bricks from one side of the site to the other. A little like being on the chain gang. Today I worked laying some of the bricks. We were all learning. In the afternoon, I helped dig a hole for another foundation. When I say dig, I mean I was using a 6 ft chisel rod to break up the very hard soil and a lot of rocks; mostly volcanic rocks. Then shoveled it out. It takes a long time because it was so hard.
This afternoon we visited a cigar factory. One of the habitat board members runs the factory. These were hand rolled and very expensive. They ship them all to Miami and then they go other places. I got one for you. Caesar gave out some to us. It has been great but I feel so inadequate as far as the language goes. It´s a good thing we have several people who speak and understand well. You can send this on if you want. I´ll try and check in, in a couple of days. "
