Lake Arrowhead

We have been journing to Otsego County's Lake Arrowhead for five years now. Jeff moved up here from KY in 1999. We bought the place as a vacation home and Jeff lived in it. The plan was to wait and see whether or not J would want to live here and even stay in Gaylord. Well, both worked out and as a result we sold it to him. He liked it that much. He has fit right in here in the woods.

Aleene and I walk the woods roads each time we are here and think about owning another place in the woods. There wasn't much building up here the first two or three years, but the last two...the last one especially, building has proliferated. There are lots and there are lots. You can buy a 60 by 120 for as little as $2K or as much as $50 depending on where....naturally.

We like our Holland Home...a lot...so I don't anticipate any changes in the near future...we'll just have to see...

But it is Aleene's birthday and we get to meet Jeff's new friend, Mary today, so life goes on in the north woods...
