Luacres

One of our sojourns over the past two weeks was to Lawrence County. We drove slowly up Valley Road past the old farm-stead we called Luacres. I took some pictures. It was good to see the place looking so good. The barn, of course, is gone. In its place is a garage with a second story. The only "old" looking thin is the spring house. It was new 60 years ago, but it looks its age today. Perhaps it is the connection to the past and the water supply, but it needs some work.

This is the same trip that we located our old friend Jonathan in his Volant area home. There was a lot of nostalgia there. You can't photograph Dutch, so I respected that. We got some photos of his heifers, however.
