After living here almost three years, we have experienced something that the locals said would never happen: snow lasting over 24 hours. In fact, we have had over six inches in the past 12 hours and it is still snowing. I shoveled the sidewalks and driveway twice already and plan to go out one more time before we go to bed.
This is unusual...but pretty and reminds us, so much, of Michigan. The difference is that there are no snow plows running around. It just piles up.

We got close to a foot yesterday , and it's still snowing. Another 6+ expected tomorrow night. We had our first blizzard warning in years yesterday! Haven't seen the ground in close to a month!
