Update

We changed our plans on Sunday afternoon due to the high winds and the fact that Jeff and Mary lost power at their house. We quickly loaded the jeep, hitched on the trailer and headed south. We had a forty knot head wind (45 mph) and dropped two miles per gallon from the trip north. That little Jeep was workin'. We got home safely at 12:30 and spent the afternoon packing, cleaning and resting. The Stillers were on Sunday night to boot.

Called Jeff this morning and they got power about 4 o'clock. A tree had fallen not too far after we left right close to their place. Whew...

Rose is doing well he reports and we are packed ready for a mid morning departure. Heard from Wes shortly after noon from Kitty Hawk, NC. They are having a great time and expect to be home on Friday or Saturday.

Our cupboards are bare, our suitcases are full and we are ready to go.
