Here it is Turkey Day. Everyone else is done with Thanksgiving dinner and we have yet to eat it. The second football game is half over and we are just getting ready to go out the door to eat. Love this Pacific time.
Jeff reports ten inches of snow and howling winds up-north. They had to scrub some of their plans because of the elements...not that they didn't get out and have some fun. Rose is still doing well there...it would appear that she does better when she can go in and out at a second's notice than wait for me to walk her to the corner.
We are overcast here, the first day we have not had sun since we got here. This IS uncharacteristic for the Valley. This is the rainy season and what we have had is unusual. They reoport snow to the 2000 ft. level...which is low. Truman got his bike out this morning and showed me that he is an offical two wheeled rider. When I saw him take off, I just had to think that he is too small to ride unassisted...but low and behold he does it. He even has some tricks he does. Amazing.
Asher is napping in anticipation of the trip to NaNee's where we will link up with the Hampton's (Bren's sister's family) for a 3:30 dinner. Tru is being quiet, so I think he may be asleep too. I for one am hungry and ready to eat. Aleene baked pecan pies and Amy is doing garlic mashed potatoes and a sweet potato dish. Smells yummy, so let's eat.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!! I hope Amy made the sweet potatoe dish from All Recipies! Our plans all fell through thanks to Ryan having a tummy bug since Tuesday night, but it was a nice quiet Thanksgiving!
