This is the final day of the conference. They have WiFi here, so for a few minutes I shall write. After all, it is October 4.
We have a lively international group and they are very bright and very social. The conference is going well and I am thinking about the one that awaits in Chicago in a fortnight. (That is my bid to be international.) Most of the group is wearing a Bindi...the red dot on the forehead...furnished by one of two Indian attendees. Bindi means I Love You...and was once worn as the third eye to catch the eye of the woman. Ussha, who furnished them, is a PhD and is a card. She will be doing what I am doing in both India and Dubai. Interesting.
Rain has dampened the outside, but not the spirits. We do not have a car, so we do the shuttle and have to go with its schedule. Things get done, but slowly. Dan and I will take the shuttle to the airport tonight for our flights home. We both leave on NW just before seven (local). So, here we go...
