What a wonderful event. The best wedding many people had witnessed in a long time seemed to be the sentiment. Sincere, heartfelt, adult, family, special were the comments. Mary's two daughters, Trisha and Karlie were her attendants. Her son Kaleb presented her to the groom in a mark of real showmanship and strength. Judge Mike Cooper and Paul Block stood with Jeff. The rest of us sat, but our hearts stood with him as well. They looked so good.
Family started rolling in yesterday and we ate most of the afternoon. Then last night the Fennville/Holland folk arrived and what a delight that was to have all those people there together with us. They all will be here this morning for brunch before scattering to the winds again. What a grand showing of support.
Aleene is cooking and I am the gofer...so I better sign off for now.
