First word on Asher

"He is sooo cute," is what Aleene reported this morning on Amy's first reaction to seeing their new son. They got there without any problems and made contact yesterday (remember the reference to dates is 13 hours out of whack) with Holt and the foster mother. They will not see him today, but will spend the time with Huyn, their friend who went to MSU that they knew from Pusan. Huyn insisted that they stay with him, so that is where they are and that saves about $120 per day for their hotel (they were not able to get in the Holt guest house.) They actually get Asher tomorrow and depart later that day...which gets them back in the US on Thursay afternoon. They will be in Portland Thursday evening.

Aleene said Amy was very excited, but not as emotional as with Tru...experience and motherhood, I would guess, but she is just as thrilled.

Aleene and Tru are doing well. He likes doing school-type things, reading, coloring, lettering, etc. so he is with the right person, ne? They are going to clean the car today and go to the park. It is supposed to be about 80 today...luck her. We are 60.
