What do you do on a fall morning after soccer? Drive through the Hazel Nut groves to near where Amy teaches and get into a crowd of people enjoying the mild weather and taking their kids to a petting farm...Fir Point Farm.
There were old cars, goats, chickens, ponies, huge slingshots that threw pumpkins of all sizes across a field and hopefully into a big box...a hay slide, a corn maze, and on and on. It was crowded.
Aleene and I lasted for a while then came home the families stuck it out for a while, but stayed long enough to get the kids involved in most of the activities. They did not bring any pumpkins home...just too much and still a bit early in the season. But it was fun.
