The living, dining and hall floors are done. The last coat of finish went on Friday morning, so we are back in the house in our stocking feet. There is a bit of paint odor, but it is abating and it is nice to be back to our own furniture. Do you dig the chairs and sofas?
The quarter round will go back on Monday when it is safe for me to walk, bend, crawl on the new surfaces. Of course, the dog has to stay off, but she didn't like the floors before they were redone. We are in the two bedrooms, bath and kitchen until Monday.
After our trip to Beaverton...check next post, Aleene decided to trim our curlie willow. It is overtaking the corner of the yard and a friend of Bren & Amy wants them for their wedding in April. So she got crackin. Rose enjoys her freedom in the back..regardless of how small.
Is this the face of a happy pruner? I think she would have preferred some help from me instead of taking her picture. But when it is 60 degrees, you got to do what is important. (I did come out and help with the tall stuff and the disposal of the residue.
