Pictures

I posted a few pictures on Flickr of some of our goings on this week. We have gone to the Sebring Race track several times for lunch and to watch whomever might be practicing. I think I gave a view of the place earlier, but it is fun to see/hear the cars. The picture of Willie on his Harley was taken there. He is alone because poor Dana had to work. On that day Marcus Andretti's team was practicing there. They were actually on just half the track, the other half was occupied by a driving school (four racers going about 100 mph.) The Andretti racers (two of them) probably turn about 170 on the straight away. This is a road race track so there are twists and bends in it, so they shift up and down.
The Bok Sactuary and Bell Tower were explained in my last post.
We leave tomorrow, so we have been to the grocery and have begun to restow the gear we had out. Aleene is washing bedding today and enough clothes to get us through another couple of weeks until we hit Oregon. It has been a good visit. The weather has been virtually perfect, with a few cold nights and one rainy night. Today is sub-seventy and sunny with a strong breeze...tomorrow and the weekend are supposed to peak out at about 80....maybe it will follow us north and west as we head out.
Thanks to Willie and Dana for furnishing our home away for the past month. Too bad we will be so far away in the future. This is a nice spot to spend the winter, for sure.
