All else pales in comparison to Amy's news today...It's a boy! They got word this afternoon that their second Korean son was born November 19 and weighed in at 7#. They will most likely go to Korea to get him in June or July. So Truman has a brother! Now we have to name that boy (well, help anyway.) Watch Brendon's website for details...pictures and social worker comments.
Monday I got an agreement in the case I started last November. This was with the road commission in one of the local counties and an employee. There were attorneys involved in both sides and was a real exhausting process.
Wednesday I went to Cadillac to speak to the HR Assn. there. It was a small group as compared to Kalamazoo last week, but if book sales as a percent of attendance is a mark of success Cadillac was twice as good as Kazoo. I sold books to 25% of the audience in K and to 50% of those at C. One highlight was getting there. Jeff called at 6:30 to give me an update on the weather since he was working midnights this week. The pavement was wet all the way there, but some areas received ten inches Tuesday night. Back to the story. One of the HR people was from Baker College. She gave her boss my contact information and recommended to him that they have me speak to their leadership group. I would like to do that sort of stuff.
Aleene and I don not have any commitments tomorrow...Friday...so we will begin celebrate our forty years together two days early...no plans, just concentrate on one another.
